CERAMIC FIBER MODULE

AVIKEM Ceramic Fiber Modules are made from the corresponding ceramic fiber material acupuncture blanket processed in dedicated machines according to fiber component structure and size. Ceramic fiber folded modules is directly fixed in industrial furnaces shell plate by various anchorage.

The ceramic fiber module is made from compressed ceramic fiber blanket. It is specially designed to meet the thermal insulation requirements of industrial furnaces in some special thermal conditions. And it is produced with various anchoring systems to enable quick, easy and efficient installation in most furnace linings. You can use it to increase the furnace productivity and reduce the maintenance costs.

Installation Steps

(1) Steel plate cleaning

Before the module is installed, the steel plate and furnace wall with the installation should be cleaned, and the rusty steel plate should be derusted.

(2) Pay off

When wiring, strictly follow the construction design drawing, take the center point of the module as the reference, wire to both sides, and mark the position of the bolts, try to make the position of the latter row of screws do not have large errors.

(3) Welding of anchors

The anchor nail is welded to the furnace wall steel plate, and the position should be accurate, and the error should be strictly controlled; the anchor nail must be perpendicular to the furnace wall during welding, and at the same time, try to avoid damage to the bolt thread. The deviation of the adjacent center distance of the bolts is ≤2, and the deviation of any two spacings is ≤ 3mm; After the welding is completed, hammering and bending are used to check the welding quality of the bolts one by one to ensure that the welding is firm, and then remove the welding slag.

(4) Backing blanket installation

First compress the ceramic fiber blanket to the required thickness, and spread the blanket and blanket in a staggered layer (the staggered amount is not less than the drawing requirements), and the quick card must be clamped to prevent rebound.

(5) Module installation

Take out the ceramic fiber module → screw the guide rod to the small end of the screw → pass the ceramic fiber module along the center hole through the guide rod to the furnace plate → use a special wrench to tighten the nut to the screw → unscrew the guide rod → proceed in sequence Installation of other ceramic fiber modules.

It should be noted that the module installation should follow the principle of first furnace top and then furnace wall, from bottom to top. After installing a row of modules, lay a compensation blanket on the cutting surface of the module (2 layers of 20mm blankets are extruded to a thickness of 25mm), and fix them on the installed module with U-shaped nails.

(6) Modular surface finishing

After the ceramic fiber module is installed, flatten the surface of the module with a wooden board to ensure that the module is squeezed tightly, and the large gaps are tightly filled with compensation blankets.

(7) Curing agent spraying

After the insulation layer is installed, in order to prolong the service life of the insulation cotton and enhance the ability to resist wind erosion and air erosion, a protective layer of curing agent should be sprayed on the surface of the module, with an amount of about 1.5kg/m2.
